The 10/20/30 Rule of PowerPoint

You want to change the world and tell everyone about it. A starting point for building a presentation: 10/20/30 - 10 slides, 20 minutes in length, 30-point font. People's attention spans are getting shorter, and if you need to use the presentation as your teleprompter, perhaps you shouldn't be the one giving it.

Remember, perfection isn't when there is no more to add. Perfection is when there is nothing more to subtract.
